Giffin Gives Blood: Community Impact, Team Spirit, and the Gift of Life

At Giffin, community investment isn’t a one‑time effort – it’s part of how we show up every day. That commitment was on full display during our recent Giffin Gives Blood drive in partnership with the American Red Cross.

Thanks to the enthusiasm and generosity of our team, the event was a tremendous success, with 42 registered donors stepping forward to help save lives. Each donation represents more than a number – it represents compassion, responsibility, and a shared belief that small actions can make a meaningful difference.

Showing Up the Giffin Way

From the moment the drive began, the energy was unmistakable. Team members rolled up their sleeves, supported one another, and filled the space with encouragement and pride. It was a powerful reminder that when our people come together around a common purpose, the impact extends far beyond our walls.

And because it wouldn’t be a true Giffin event without a little fun, the day also featured some memorable COO sticker moments. Thanks to Chief Operating Officer Shane Gerkin, sticker pride quickly became a badge of honor – sparking smiles, friendly competition, and a few laughs along the way. It was a simple gesture that perfectly captured the spirit of the day: serious impact paired with genuine connection.

Partnering with the American Red Cross allowed our team to contribute to a cause that directly supports our local community and beyond. Blood donations are critical, lifesaving resources – and every donor played a role in helping ensure that patients in need have access to care when it matters most.
